Tom Mitchell Named to North Carolina Lawyers Weekly's 2026 Managing Partners to Watch List
Congratulations to Tom Mitchell on being named to North Carolina Lawyers Weekly's 2026 Managing Partners to Watch List. The recognition honors law firm leaders who demonstrate professional excellence and a strong commitment to their communities.
As managing partner of Moore & Van Allen, Mitchell serves as Chair of the Management Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Prior to becoming managing partner in 2018, he led the firm's nationally ranked Financial Services practice and guided its growth to more than 100 attorneys.
In addition to his leadership at MVA, Mitchell serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Charlotte Center City Partners, is a member of the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council and co-chairs its Community Engagement Working Team, and serves on the Board of Trustees of Johnson C. Smith University.
