Moore & Van Allen (MVA) White Collar, Regulatory Defense & Investigations Member Frank Schall served as a panelist for the Globalaw webinar titled, “Cross-Border and Multi-Jurisdictional Investigations and Enforcement: Challenges and Best Practices” which was held on February 8.
This Globalaw webinar discussed case studies regarding the reporting and assessment of initial complaints or notices from law enforcement or regulatory authorities of an investigation, the tools used to conduct an investigation, and the final reporting at the conclusion of an investigation. The panel also covered what to consider when contemplating cooperation or self-reporting to a government entity, how to address whistleblowers, and situations in which multiple national authorities are involved in an investigation or enforcement action.
