MVA Public Affairs Participates in Charlotte Regional Business Alliance’s Exploring Economies Program; Mingledorff Moderates Panel on Transportation
Moore & Van Allen’s (MVA) Public Affairs Managing Director Walter Price, and Public Affairs Directors Amy Murphy Curlis and Towers Mingledorff recently joined the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance’s Exploring Economies trip to Boston, which convened business, civic, and community leaders to discuss economic growth, innovation, and infrastructure.
As part of the program, Mingledorff moderated a transportation policy panel featuring Boston-area leaders including Jascha Franklin-Hodge (City of Boston), Jim Rooney (Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce), Jay Ash (Massachusetts Competitive Partnership), Meredith Slesinger (MassDOT), and Katie Choe (MBTA).
The discussion focused on how strategic investment in transportation infrastructure can drive equitable growth and long-term regional competitiveness — insights especially relevant as the Charlotte region considers its own transformational $20 billion transportation initiative.
