Johnson Named to Third Class of 50 Most Influential Women

Moore & Van Allen Charlotte Member Amy Johnson was recognized as one of The Mecklenburg Times’ 50 Most Influential Women at a dinner at The Westin Charlotte on Friday, May 6.  Johnson and her 49 counterparts were named to The Times’ third Most Influential Women class.  The award spotlights women in business, government, education and the nonprofit sector.

Johnson works in MVA’s Financial Services group and concentrates her practice on public finance.  She is a Charlotte Business Journal 40 Under 40 award winner and was named to the Best Lawyers in America list in the field of Public Finance Law.  Johnson also sits on the Mecklenburg County Bar Board of Directors, and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the North Carolina Bar Association.  She graduated first in her class from the University Of North Carolina School Of Law.
