Moore & Van Allen PLLC is pleased to announce that Research Triangle Managing Member and Trademark Team Leader Arlene D. Hanks was featured in the inaugural “IP Stars-Top 250 Women in IP” guidebook published by Managing Intellectual Property.  Hanks focuses her IP practice on domestic and international trademark prosecution and protection, and in copyright, intellectual property licensing and transactional work.

The publication identifies the nation’s leading female IP attorneys, aiming to provide in-house IP counsel with detailed information about the attorneys listed.  The research for the book was conducted from June 2012 through April 2013, in conjunction with research for IP Stars 2013.  Results are based on more than 1,000 interviews and surveys by partners and law firms across the United States.

Earlier this year, Hanks, along with MVA’s Intellectual Property Team Leader Dickson M. Lupo, Member Charles (Chuck) L. Moore, and Member Henry B. Ward were recognized as “IP Stars” by Managing Intellectual Property, and the Firm’s Intellectual Property practice received a Tier 1 “Highly Recommended” ranking.
