Charlotte Commercial & Technology Transactions Senior Counsel Todd Taylor was published by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly on October 31. Taylor's article, "The criminalization of speech," discusses the statute North Carolina adopted to address the problem of “cyberbullying.”  

The new law addresses a student’s Internet use as it pertains to intimidation or harassment of school employees. “What remains to be seen, though, is whether the law is enforceable in light of the First Amendment’s free expression guarantees,” Taylor states.
