Privacy & Data Security Senior Counsel Todd Taylor and Litigation Counsel Breana Jeter's July 2014 article for InsideCounsel was recently mentioned in another InsideCounsel article by Zach Warren. Warren referenced Taylor and Jeter’s “EU-U.S. Safe Harbor agreement heading for troubled water?” in his March 10th article “EU Drafting an Even Stricter Privacy and Data Security Bill.”

He writes:  As Moore & Van Allen attorneys Breana Jeter and Todd Taylor wrote for InsideCounsel in July 2014, this shouldn’t come as a shock. In November 2013, the European Commission “criticized the perceived lack of transparency regarding the privacy policies of some Safe Harbor participants, the lack of active enforcement of the Safe Harbor Framework by the U.S. government, and the failure of some Safe Harbor self-certified companies to actually comply with the principles.”
