Zach Smith guest speaker for ABI podcast
Charlotte Bankruptcy & Restructuring Member and Team Leader Zach Smith was invited as a guest speaker for the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) podcast, “Examining Supreme Court Decision on Puerto Rico Oversight and Management Board - Ep. 238” which aired on June 15. Hosted by the ABI Editor-at-Large Bill Rochelle, Smith joined Professor Stephen Lubben, the Harvey Washington Wiley Chair in Corporate Governance & Business Ethics at Seton Hall (Newark, N.J.) and Professor Juliet Moringiello, Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development and Professor of Law at Widener University Commonwealth Law School (Harrisburg, Pa.) to discuss the June 1 decision by the Supreme Court that the appointment of the Puerto Rico Oversight Board did not violate the Appointments Clause.
