Darby Festa represents clients in connection with complex litigation matters and internal and government investigations.

Overview

Darby is an associate in Moore & Van Allen’s Litigation group. Darby primarily focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including matters related to fraud, securities fraud, contractual disputes, and other areas of corporate and commercial law.

As part of her practice, Darby also assists with conducting internal investigations in response to federal agency inquiries or in accordance with internal audits.

Prior to joining the firm, Darby served as a law clerk for the Honorable Julianna Theall Earp of the North Carolina Business Court.  

Representative Experience

  • Assisting in internal investigations into allegations related to employee misconduct
  • Assisting a large financial institution responding to regulatory matters with the OCC
  • Representing client in federal litigation involving numerous private causes of action related to their alleged retaliatory termination
