JoAnn Carlton brings more than 30 years of broad consumer product experience with an emphasis in the payments and financial services industry.

Overview

JoAnn provides strategic input and regulatory risk and compliance guidance for the firm’s financial services, payment, and fintech clients.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Banc of America Merchant Services, LLC. Additionally, she held various senior legal roles for Bank of America managing its card issuing, merchant, small business lending, deposit products, e-Commerce and ATMs, and prepaid card products legal support.

Prior to Bank of America, JoAnn was Senior Vice President and counsel at Bank One/First USA supporting consumer and small business credit cards including affinity partner contract negotiations, marketing and systems, and operational issues. JoAnn also served as senior counsel to National City Card Services in Columbus, Ohio, providing legal support to its bankcard and private label credit card business.
