Kelly Rizzo facilitates transactional business objectives and solutions via commercial leases, licenses, amendments, assignment and assumption agreements, and advises her clients on compliance, risk mitigation and reputational risk matters, and landlord/tenant and property management disputes.

Overview

Kelly focuses her practice on helping clients with the acquisition, sale, development, and leasing of commercial real estate. She works closely with the corporate practice group on the real estate branch facilitating the ongoing series of acquisitions for a healthcare company. Kelly has extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases, representing lenders in the negotiation and drafting of loan documents and NDAs, as well as the review and analysis of all project due diligence. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Kelly spent over a decade with the commercial real estate practice group at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Charlotte.
