Overview

Patrick advises individuals, families, and closely held business owners on estate planning, wealth transfer, and related tax matters. His practice focuses on developing and implementing tailored strategies that integrate personal, business, and charitable objectives to promote long-term wealth preservation and efficient succession planning.

Patrick works with clients to design and administer sophisticated estate planning structures, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, and to implement planning techniques aimed at minimizing estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. He has particular experience advising business owners on succession planning and the transfer of closely held interests, as well as counseling clients on charitable planning and the formation, structuring, and governance of nonprofit organizations. In this capacity, he assists clients with structuring philanthropic vehicles and navigating the legal and regulatory considerations associated with tax-exempt entities.
