Moore & Van Allen attorneys recognized by South Carolina Super Lawyers
Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce that two of its Charleston members were included on the 2021 Super Lawyers list. David B. Wheeler is recognized in the Bankruptcy: Business category, while Lesley A. Firestone is recognized as a “Rising Star” in the Environmental category.
Wheeler brings more than 30 years of experience in guiding clients through debt recovery in loan workouts, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and collection in state and federal courts. A S.C. certified specialist in the area of debtor-creditor law, Wheeler has practiced in bankruptcy courts throughout the nation. He is familiar with all facets of the law necessary for the successful application of long-term strategies to maximize recoveries for his clients.
Firestone’s environmental law practice includes assisting clients in the purchase or sale of contaminated properties, permitting, compliance counseling, and the resolution or avoidance of environmental enforcement issues.
