Moore & Van Allen attorneys Laura Truesdale and Sam Merritt named to CBJ 2026 40 Under 40 class
Attorneys Laura Truesdale and Sam Merritt of Moore & Van Allen have been named to the 2026 40 Under 40 class, which recognizes emerging leaders for professional accomplishments and contributions to the Charlotte community.
Laura Truesdale is a member of the firm’s Environmental group, advising real estate developers, lenders, manufacturers and corporate clients on environmental aspects of transactions and redevelopment projects, regulatory compliance and environmental risk management. She also advises clients on ESG-related matters as part of the firm’s interdisciplinary Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance team.
Sam Merritt is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property team, representing clients in complex patent and trademark litigation before federal courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His practice also includes advising clients on intellectual property enforcement and portfolio strategy across a range of industries.
