Brandon Gaskins Recognized by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly
Moore & Van Allen is pleased to announce that Brandon Gaskins, a Member in the firm’s Charleston office, has been recognized by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly for his continued excellence in litigation and employment law. This marks the second time Gaskins has received the honor.
Gaskins is an accomplished litigator with experience in complex business disputes, land use and zoning matters, and cases involving noncompetition, confidentiality, and other restrictive covenants. He also regularly challenges governmental actions that deny clients’ development and property rights.
He maintains a broad employment law practice, advising employers, executives, and physicians on matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. His work includes counseling on employment contracts, terminations, and wage and hour compliance.
Gaskins’ notable achievements include securing a $2.6 million award in a breach of contract claim against a municipality and obtaining favorable settlements in False Claims Act investigations.
