MVA Attorneys Serve as panelists for the NCBA 2025 Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Law Section Program

Moore & Van Allen’s Head of Environmental, Mary Katherine Stukes, and Litigation Associate, Pierce Werner, served as panelists at the NCBA 2025 Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Law Section Annual Meeting, held May 30–31 in Asheville, NC. The program, “Managing the New Normal: A Period of Change,” featured a two-part presentation on climate resiliency—planning (Day 1) and recovery (Day 2)—and addressed the broader impacts of climate change beyond North Carolina’s coastal areas, as well as state energy targets, PFAS, brownfields, forestry updates, and regulatory changes under the new federal administration.
