Moore & Van Allen’s (MVA) Sarah Byrne has been named North America Pro Bono Leader of the Year at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026, marking her second consecutive year receiving this honor.

Now in its 16th year, the Women in Business Law Awards recognize outstanding lawyers who are advancing their practices while championing pro bono initiatives. Sarah’s recognition reflects her leadership in developing and expanding impactful pro bono efforts, including her work leading the firm’s Human Trafficking Pro Bono Project and representing survivors of sex and labor trafficking. A nationally recognized advocate, Sarah also works to advance broader awareness and solutions through collaboration, training, and policy efforts that support vulnerable and underserved communities across the U.S.
