Moore & Van Allen Advises Regions Financial Corporation on Acquisition of The Frazer Lanier Company
Moore & Van Allen advised Regions Financial Corporation in connection with its acquisition of The Frazer Lanier Company, Incorporated, a Montgomery, Alabama-based investment banking firm specializing in municipal and corporate securities. The acquisition expands Regions' municipal finance and investment banking capabilities and strengthens its capital markets platform.
Frazer Lanier has long served corporations, cities, counties and local boards, including as an underwriter and placement agent for taxable and tax-exempt bond offerings. Following the acquisition, Frazer Lanier will become part of Regions Bank's Capital Markets division.
The transaction reflects Regions' continued investment in capital markets services for public, corporate and institutional clients and enhances its ability to serve clients across its footprint.
