Clara Ilkka is an associate in the Intellectual Property group representing clients in a wide range of industries, with a focus on intellectual property matters, data privacy, and transactions.

Overview

As an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group, Clara assists clients with intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright, and patent issues and transactions, as well as privacy and data security matters.

Clara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wake Forest University, cum laude, with minors in Political Science & International Affairs and Latin American Studies. She graduated from William & Mary Law School, cum laude, where she served as the Executive Editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and as President of the William & Mary chapter of the American Constitution Society.

During law school, she externed at the Virginia Department of Elections; the position included drafting guidance for local election officials during the 2020 election. Prior to law school, she interned in the United States Senate and at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid in Minneapolis.
