Overview
Drew focuses on complex commercial litigation and also helps individuals, small businesses, and large corporations navigate government inquiries, internal investigations, and white-collar criminal defense matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Drew was a litigation associate at a prominent international law firm in Washington, D.C. Drew then clerked for the Honorable Trevor N. McFadden on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Drew graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Drew served on the Georgetown Law Journal as Executive Editor of the Annual Review of Criminal Procedure.
Representative Experience
- Represented aluminum can manufacturer in breach of contract dispute in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
- Secured the dismissal of all ERISA violation claims brought by the Department of Labor against Norco Inc. founder and former CEO James Kissler
- Secured the dismissal with prejudice of all claims against directors and officers of ESOP company PDQ related to sale to Kwik Stop
- Defended the former CEO of the nation’s second largest poultry producer against criminal antitrust conspiracy charges alleging price-fixing and bid rigging, achieving an acquittal after three consecutive trials in federal court in Colorado
- Advised fiduciary on scope of insurance coverage and indemnification matters related to trustee arrangement
