Tucker McKinley is an associate in the Moore & Van Allen Intellectual Property group. He focuses his IP practice on technology and commercial transaction matters.

Overview

Tucker has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting patent and trademark licenses, intellectual property development and commercialization agreements, software as a service (SaaS) agreements, technology outsourcing matters, supply chain contracts, and other general service agreements. In addition, Tucker counsels clients on intellectual property and technology issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other corporate transactions.

In law school, Tucker served as the executive articles editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He also worked as an intern at the University of Georgia Innovation Gateway Office, where he assisted the University in negotiating technology and licensing agreements.
