Moore & Van Allen Advises Pipeline on $200M Launch of Independent Music Financing Platform
Moore & Van Allen (MVA) advised Pipeline—a financing platform backed by Jamen Capital—on its launch with more than $200 million in committed capital to support independent music companies. Created to bring flexibility, transparency, and IP‑focused financial tools to the independent music sector, Pipeline represents a significant step toward addressing long‑standing disparities between independent music entities and major music corporations.
The transaction leveraged a broad team of more than 20 MVA attorneys across Entertainment, Finance, Employment, Bankruptcy & Restructuring, and Intellectual Property. Their combined capabilities supported Pipeline through the structuring, development, and launch of the new platform.
The team effort was coordinated by Brett E. Moskowitz, Co‑Head of Entertainment Finance, who provided strategic guidance informed by his experience in music catalog finance, institutional lending, and cross‑border entertainment transactions. Brett’s work continues to earn industry recognition, including recent honors from the Southeastern Legal Awards and Lawdragon.
With decades of experience advising clients across Corporate & Transactional, Finance & Investments, and Litigation & Global Disputes, MVA continues to expand its role within the intersection of finance, technology, and creative industries.
