Overview
Sonny’s practice focuses on secured and unsecured lending transactions, including single-lender, club and syndicated credit facilities, senior, second-lien and subordinated debt financings, and acquisition financings. He represents banks, private credit funds, other lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors and other market participants in domestic and cross-border financing transactions involving healthcare companies, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and companies across a wide range of industries.
Sonny also has significant experience with equity and equity-linked investments, including common and preferred stock, convertible notes and warrants. In addition, he represents and advises corporate, private equity and investment banking clients in connection with public and private domestic and multijurisdictional offerings of debt, equity and equity-linked securities pursuant to Rule 144A, Regulation S, Regulation D and other exemptions from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933.
Prior to joining the firm, Sonny practiced at an international law firm in Hong Kong, Seoul, Paris and Singapore.
