Moore & Van Allen Welcomes Entertainment Finance Attorney Brett E. Moskowitz


Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce that Brett E. Moskowitz has joined the firm as member and will practice* in the Financial Services group. Moskowitz joins MVA from Mayer Brown.

“Brett is an accomplished finance attorney highly regarded for his depth of knowledge and extensive experience in a niche, highly competitive industry. Moskowitz is an entertainment finance attorney with more than a decade of experience advising financial institutions, financiers, and borrowers in complex media transactions. In addition to representing the industry’s most notable agent banks in syndicated financings, he has considerable experience advising other financial institutions and investors in entertainment finance matters, including music catalog finance, record label finance, music fund finance, and television, motion picture, and sports finance.

As a complement to his entertainment practice, Moskowitz also guides clients across a range of other industries in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions. His experience includes syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, asset-based loans, secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition financings, investment grade financings, institutional term loans, and cash flow facilities.

Moskowitz earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
