Beth Buckner Speaks at Women in Economic Development Forum
Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Economic Development & Incentives Member Beth Buckner recently served as a panelist at the Women in Economic Development Forum, hosted by Area Development in Chicago. Beth joined industry leaders from JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, and Newmark for the discussion, “What the Incentives Toolbox is Currently Missing.” MVA Director of Public Affairs Beth Friedrich also attended the forum, which convened economic development and business leaders from across the country to share strategies for driving innovation and growth.
The panel explored how economic development professionals can adapt incentive strategies to meet evolving corporate needs and stay competitive in attracting investment. Drawing on her extensive experience structuring and negotiating incentive packages for major corporate relocations and expansions, Beth offered insight into how collaboration, legislative engagement, and tax-efficient structuring can create stronger outcomes for both businesses and communities.
