Beth Friedrich is a trusted public affairs advisor with extensive experience in economic development, governmental relations, and incentive strategy. She works at the intersection of business and government, helping clients engage with policymakers, secure critical project support, and advance complex expansion and relocation initiatives.

Overview

Beth has guided some of the region’s most complex and transformative projects to fruition, including Apple’s Research Triangle headquarters, Wolfspeed’s Raleigh campus, and Toyota’s $13.9 billion battery plant in Randolph County. She brings more than a decade of hands-on government experience — including service in the North Carolina Speaker’s Office, the NC Department of Commerce, and as Senior Manager of Economic Development for the City of Raleigh — to every engagement.

In her role at MVA, Beth leads due diligence, strategizes public policy and incentive approaches, engages with legislative and agency stakeholders, and supports clients throughout all phases — from site selection to incentives negotiation to compliance and public outreach. Her government background gives her an edge in anticipating shifts in policy, fostering cross-sector partnerships, and structuring thoughtful, sustainable incentive packages that align with both client objectives and public goals.
