Miles Reynolds represents private equity funds, energy companies, and both privately held and public organizations in a variety of transactional matters. He primarily focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, capital raises, and corporate governance and operations, along with project finance in the energy space.

Overview

Miles’s practice centers around assessing, structuring, and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, equity investments, spinoffs, asset purchases, and divestures. Miles also engages with organizations of all sizes in entity formation and structuring, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, and corporate governance issues.

In the energy and electricity generation industry, Miles has experience assisting traditional and renewable energy facilities in project finance, development, acquisition, and sale transactions.

Miles received his B.A. from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While he was completing his legal studies, Miles also received his M.B.A. from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Before going to law school, Miles worked in business development in the market research industry covering mostly B2B manufacturing.
