Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Litigation Associate Precious McLaughlin served as a guest speaker for a Southern Politics class at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC on Monday, November 21. During the presentation titled, “The Evolution of Voting Rights,” Precious discussed the current status of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and recent Voting Rights Litigation, more specifically Shelby v. Holder (2013) and Merrill v. Milligan (2022).
