Can you believe there are only nine weeks left of 2023? As we rapidly approach the end of the year, we wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy, safe, and healthy fall and holiday season, and to share with you the latest updates on your friends and colleagues at MVA.
In addition to the updates below, wecelebrated our YP Annual Harvest Festival this past Sunday with over 150 in attendance at HopFly Brewing Company. It’s always a great event to catch up with our friends, and for those with young children, it’s always good to see how much they’ve grown within the past year.
Additionally, MVA’s Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association (APALA) hosted the APALSA group from Wake Forest School of Law and Charlotte Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA) for a networking event at the Charlotte office. Attendees had an open discussion about issues that AAPI lawyers face in the legal industry, general interviewing/resume tips, and got to enjoy time networking and socializing.
