Represented a multifamily apartment owner and asset manager in arbitration against a general contractor and multiple subcontractors arising from widespread construction defects involving plumbing systems, firestopping, framing, siding, drainage systems, and other project components. Coordinated extensive investigations, expert analyses, and remediation efforts while pursuing significant damages.
Represented a contractor in arbitration against subcontractor regarding multimillion-dollar claims for services allegedly provided on a utility project in Florida.
Represented the owner and operator of a major hotel property in litigation arising from a hotel-wide renovation project involving alleged construction defects. Advised on litigation strategy, expert inspections, repair protocols, and contractor negotiations while managing issues affecting an active hospitality operation.
Represented the owner and developer of a private golf course and practice facility in litigation and arbitration arising from alleged design and construction defects. The matter involved claims exceeding $20 million and required complex discovery and expert coordination relating to golf course design, construction standards, and maintenance practices.
Represented a warehouse systems supplier in a multi-party arbitration involving claims exceeding $30 million related to alleged project delays, nonpayment, and construction defects at a dairy processing facility. Successfully negotiated a global settlement resolving all claims immediately before the final arbitration hearing.
Represented a contractor in arbitration against a subcontractor terminated for defective work on an electrical distribution line project. Defended the subcontractor’s claims for nonpayment and pursued recovery of the contractor’s damages for cost of completion.

Represented commercial real estate developers and joint venture partners in defending mechanics' lien claims arising from tenant improvement work at industrial properties and addressing novel issues under North Carolina lien law.
Represented multiple developers and affiliated entities in federal litigation involving profit-sharing and compensation claims associated with residential development projects throughout the Southeast. The matter involved approximately $5 million in alleged damages.
